Himlung Himal est l’un des sommets visités durant l’automne au Népal. Situé entre la frontière du Népal et du Tibet, au nord de l’Annapurna et du Manaslu majestueusement situé au-dessus du village tibétain de Phu. Une agréable ascension de neige et de glace, avec un parcours nouveau et plus sécurisé. 3 camps d’altitude en plus du camp de base sont requis. Nous avons également fait un camp de base avancé. Le trek d’accès est fait dans le village de la vallée de Phu influencé par la culture tibétaine. La beauté naturelle du paysage offre une expérience unique. La région de Himlung est assez venteuse et froide en automne. Pour cette raison, si vous le pouvez, il est préférable de faire cette ascension au printemps.

Himalung Himal expedition (7230 m). Location of altitude camps .

  • Base camp to 4800 m. Serves on arrival for 1 day of acclimatization.
  •  The advanced base camp at 5150 m serves as a real CB . For a base camp it's a good altitude.
  •  Camp 1 at 5600 m. It is necessary to walk on a rather cracked glacier. Good location for the camp site.
  • Camp 2 around 6000 m . The climb to the C2 is varied with a small passage at 60 °. The location of the camp is just off the slope on a flat.
  • Camp 3 to 6400 m
  • Summit at 7230 m superb views of Annapurna, Dhaulagiri and Tibet and Mustang plateaus.
